Description James Clancey 2017-06-24 00:48:04 UTC
It drives me crazy how we name our new projects. If I pass in a name MyProject, it creates three projects and folders:
MyProject, iOS, Droid

We should do: MyProject, MyProject.iOS, MyProject.Droid. The folders should match the project names!

Thanks James, don't go crazy please.

Pierce and I have discussed and agree. We should find a way to make this consistent.

I will verify this behavior change isn't going to upset Xamarin.Forms OS X users that might prefer the naming behavior there, albeit inconsistent with other projects on OS X, and Windows in general. We may want to allow for some flexibility in the naming like you get on some other projects, iOS for example.

David - can you please follow-up on this and move it to the proper milestone if we're going to address it? Thanks!
