When debugging iOS apps, the Output window in Visual Studio used to display any Layout Constraint Warnings, but these are no longer shown. Is this by design or a bug? We find these warnings invaluable when trying to debut layout issues.
Just for full disclosure: ideally we'd love to be able to hook into these warnings and show something in our app when they occur - this would enable any layout issues to be identified immediately rather than later when someone notices the warnings in the Output window. But first we'd just be happy to get the warnings back in the output!
Pop this code in a single view application:
The system.log from that core sim device will contain this logging: https://gist.github.com/alanmcgovern/ca456dfb11441f802b52d2f2f7602731
This doesn't show up in appliation output in XS or XVS.
James, is this the output you're expecting to see?
This is probably an issue with how x.ios propagates app output to the IDEs.
Yes, that's exactly what I was expecting, thanks
