From the docs: https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/Cocoa/Reference/Foundation/Classes/NSURL_Class/#//apple_ref/occ/instm/NSURL/initWithString:

> An NSURL object initialized with URLString. If the URL string was malformed, returns nil.

Our binding is less than helpful in this area, since you get the error instead of an exception.

We have a second set of bindings, the static versions like NSUrl.FromString  that return null if the input is invalid.
