Tested on Nexus 7 tablet
Steps to reproduce:
1. Hold device in a portrait layout.
2. Tap a DatePicker to open the dialog.
3. Rotate device to a landscape layout.
4. Dialog remains in a portrait layout.
Dialog changes from using the portrait layout to using the landscape layout.
The DatePicker uses the correct layout when the dialog isn't open during an orientation change.

I'm running android 5.0.2 on the Nexus 7. The issue also exists on a Nexus 9 running android 5.0.1
Changing status to confirmed.
This appears to occur specifically on Lollipop; emulators reflect this bug as well and it was also replicated on an S5 which is presently running it.
Should be fixed in 1.5.1-pre1
I have checked this issue with Xamarin.Forms 1.5.1-pre1 and its working fine.\
Hence closing this issue.
