Creating an Android project (does not happen for iOS) that has accented character in the name creates an extra folder on the same level as the solution root folder with the accented character switched to different accented character. This has caused build issues for a priority customer. Easy workaround is to not use accented characters in the path.
## Steps to reproduce
1. Open Visual Studio and create a new Android project with é (alt 0233) or Å (alt 0197) in the name. I only tested these two characters. I suspect the same will be true for others as well.
2. Open folder in Explorer where you created the solution folder.
Expected result: There will be one folder with the name that you used to create the solution, for my test original was App1Å
Actual result: An additional folder is created with the accented character swapped out for two other characters. IN my test the above folder name was changed to App1Ã…. In that folder there will be subfolders: App1Ã…\obj\Debug\__library_projects__
This did not happen with a new iOS project nor did it happen in Xamarin Studio for either Android or iOS, so it seems to be specific to Visual Studio Android extension. I have attached IDE log files. This _may_ be related to bug https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=24868

This is closely related to bug 14918, bug 18897, and bug 24479. There's a chance the recent work on bug 14918 might help (or possibly even resolve) this bug too.
This bug is not reproducible in our current public Beta bits (XVS 4.2.0).
