Description SJ 2015-01-04 02:13:23 UTC
I have a simple WCF REST service that has been working on Windows. Now I am trying to move it to Linux and it fails before hitting my line of code. The issue seems to be that the UriTemplate parameter needs to match the method name. Is this a bug with the mono framework?

 [WebInvoke(UriTemplate = "AddCount", Method = WebRequestMethods.Http.Post, RequestFormat = WebMessageFormat.Json, ResponseFormat = WebMessageFormat.Json,
            BodyStyle = WebMessageBodyStyle.Wrapped)]
        public int Add(int i)
        {
            Console.WriteLine("Inside Add"); // crashes before hitting this line
            count++;
            return i + count;
        }

Here is the raw request:
POST http://XXXX/AddCount HTTP/1.1
Accept: application/json
Content-Type: application/json
Connection: Keep-Alive
Pragma: no-cache
Content-Length: 2

12

The exception is:
