Description Till Lorentzen 2014-10-20 09:05:06 UTC
System.IO.DriveInfo.DriveFormat should return ext4 for an underlaying "ext4" file system but just returns "ext".

I do need the exact version because of the differences between ext3 and ext4 in the ctime and mtime ranges. Or is there another/better API to extract the exact file system format?

Thanks a lot!

PS: I am using the mono version 3.10.0

This call returns the correct value "ext4":

new UnixDriveInfo("/").DriveFormat;

Why doesn't the drive info returns the same info?
