Description David Siegel 2013-10-02 16:54:57 UTC
Example:

The variable `hello' is declared but never used

Should be:

The variable 'hello' is declared but never used

Backtick is replaced with a single quote.
Comment 1 Marek Safar 2013-10-02 17:00:40 UTC
Why is it a bug?
Comment 2 David Siegel 2013-10-02 17:04:11 UTC
It's grammatically erroneous, looks strange in our error/warning bubbles, and doesn't match the MS .NET compiler, which uses quote marks consistently.

Baroque

To use one of Miguel's favorite words, backticks look baroque.
