Description bugzilla 2014-07-17 01:09:50 UTC
The following code causes the C# compiler to crash (with code 1):

using System;
using System.Threading;
using System.Threading.Tasks;

class AwaitGotoBug
{
	public async Task Test()
	{
		using ((IDisposable)null)
		{
			retry:

			if (Equals(1, 2))
			{
				await Task.Yield();
				goto retry;
			}
			else
			{
				await Task.Yield();
			}
		}
	}
}

The "using" statement's resource acquisition expression is not important, and neither is the "if" test expression.

However, the compiler does not crash if any single line is commented out (the "using" statement, the "if" test, either of the "await" statements, or the goto). Nor does it crash if the "goto" is moved into the "else" block, or the "goto" is moved above the preceding "await".
