Relevant code starts on line 26.
When running this under Microsoft's .NET, the exception thrown on line 30 is properly caught in the catch block, just as expected.
However, when I run this on Asus Nexus 7 (Android version 4.1.2) with Mono for Android 4.4.54, the exception is not caught and causes the whole application to crash.
When I remove the call of "GuidMethod", the exception is caught on Android as well. It seems like the problem is only with Guid parameters, since when the method has any other parameters (I tried string, int and a custom class) except Guid, the exception still gets caught.

Code sample reproducing the problem; relevant code starts at line 26.
I cannot reproduce this on 4.7.x. Will give it a go on 4.6.x.
I cannot repro on 4.6.8 either.
Please try a newer X.A version and let me know (reopen the issue) if the problem persists.
