Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch the MonoDevelop.
2. Create a solution.
3. Double click on .xib file.
4. Add one button and one lable to the designer.
5. Click on middle button of editor.
6. See ViewController.h file is not displayed on the Assistant Editor split screen.
ViewController.h file is not displayed on the Assistant Editor split screen when user click on the middle button of the Editor choice buttons in the toolbar.Refer to the attached screenshot.
ViewController.h file should display on the Assistant Editor split screen.

This is probably because your solution has a space in the name and Xcode and/or MonoDevelop cannot handle it. For now you can work around it by not using space characters in your project name, call it 'Sample1' instead of 'Sample 1'.

Today we have checked this issue on following builds :
XS 4.0.9(build 3)
As per comment 2 we are able to see Assistant Editor split screen as when we click on middle button of Editor choice buttons.
Hence closing this issue. Changing its status to verified.
