This is not happening with VS 2010

If this is more than a trivial fix, we might re-think the priority. High for now (fighting with scrollbars is no fun)
Comment 3 Dominique Louis 2013-01-16 10:30:10 UTC
I've seen this happening in both 2010 and 2012.
The scroll bar fight is largely related to screen size.
As far as I can tell, this is not an easy fix. I would suggest postponing to post splash release.

Sounds good Dominique.
Comment 5 Marek Habersack 2013-01-17 04:47:48 UTC
The solution would be to hook up to WPF/WF control resize events and dynamically change the widths of all the widgets up to a certain minimum. It won't, however, remove the scrolling problem completely - the scrollbars will always appear when content window is too small.

I'm reducing this to enhancement

Please retest on latest master.
