Affected version: 4.4.54
Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate
1. Open an axml file in UI Designer.
2. Drop a TextView.
3. Select the TextView.
4. Click the "down arrow" of the TextView.
5. "layout_height" in Properties window does not change to "match_parent". It will change only if you select other control and reselect this TextView.
Same behavior when changing margins, height or width with mouse.
Same behavior after double-clicking TextView and change the text in the designer, the “text" properties will not be updated in Properties window.
Thanks so much for taking the time to submit this report! I can confirm using the latest Visual Studio 15.3 preview builds I am able to reproduce this issue. Marking this report as CONFIRMED.
The underlying properties _are_ updated, but are not updated until after you click off the control and click back, almost like the property panel isn't watching for changes in the properties value.
I have tested and found that his issue *does not* occur in the current Alpha channel on Mac:
Visual Studio Community 2017 for Mac (Preview)
Version 7.1 Preview (7.1 build 583)
Version: 18.104.22.168 (Visual Studio Community)
