I've filed a previous bug regarding the inability to update an entire solution from SVN (and I assume GIT). Once this is fixed, the next thing that would be nice is to be able to reload (refresh) the entire solution. This should actually be done automatically after you update the solution. Currently I have to manually update each project and then close the solution and reopen it.
I'm not sure I understand why you would reload a project.
If the project/solution files change on disk, MonoDevelop offers to reload already. I'm not sure why else you would want to (other than bugs, of course - but we should fix those bugs instead of implementing features to work around bugs, imho).
(Okay, so mhutch and lluis just explained to me that MD doesn't always pick up changes to the underlying filesystem since it only checks when it gets focused, but if files are changed behind MD's back then it doesn't always pick them up).
When I update a project from SVN (from within MD), I then have to close the solution and reopen the solution in order to cause a reload of the project. Rather, I'd like to be able to reload the project from the contextual menu (or better still, if updating a project from the SCCS, it would automatically reload).

I think this can be safely closed. Lluis?
Yes, when a solution is updated from a VCS, it is automatically reloaded.
