messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Currently the updater forces you to update all components listed in a channel.
I.E. The combination of MonoTouch 6.0.7 beta and Mono for Android 4.2.7 stable is not possible.
This is unfortunate/extremely annoying when a build machine relies on specific versions of MonoDevelop, MonoTouch and Mono for Android, and not all of them are on the same update channel.
Seconded, this is a huge bump in the development process when it doesn't have to be.
I agree, this is a huge issue when doing multi-platform development.
