I am getting this very obscure error when trying to build for a device. This does not happen when building for the simulator. I have removed all references to corelocation in my code and the problem still persists. One of my developers fixed this issue once before by completely remaking the solution, but this is not a valid solution.
Please can anyone provide any light on this problem. I think it can be caused by moving files around in a project, but am not sure. I just cannot build now and this is highly frustrating as there is no reference point on what to do to fix.
Error MT2002: Can not resolve reference: MonoTouch.CoreLocation.CLAuthorizationStatus MonoTouch.CoreLocation.CLAuthroziationChangedEventArgs::get_Status() (MT2002) (NashuaMobile.MT)
Exactly which MonoTouch version are you using? And are you using any third-party libraries (such as Xamarin.Mobile)?
Looks like a Xamarin.Mobile issue. I removed the reference completely and rewrote all the location logic without the dll and I no longer get the error.
Xamarin.Mobile was updated recently for MonoTouch 6, it's very likely that the updated version would work.
