Description Chris Hardy [MSFT] 2012-10-13 17:20:38 UTC
When you set your application up to allow it to display in the Maps application by using the Maps Integration in the info.plist, Xcode also adds the following information:

as per the information on http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/UserExperience/Conceptual/LocationAwarenessPG/ProvidingDirections/ProvidingDirections.html - this is done automatically by Xcode so needs to be done automatically in MonoDevelop.

Also in the same document under: "Debugging Your App’s Geographic Coverage File", Xcode allows a way to start the iOS Simulator with a geoJson file that's selected by the user to then display information of where the positions an app can be launched from in the Maps application so MonoDevelop needs to support adding this file per app to provide the same functionality.
