Description Saurabh 2012-10-10 04:14:59 UTC
Steps to reproduce this issue:
1. Open MD.
2. Create or open any solution.
3. Open any .cs file.
4. Set the breakpoint.
5. Open Breakpoint window(View->Debug window->Breakpoints)
6. Select breakpoint in breakpoint window.
7. Press 'Delete' key from keyboard.

Actual result: After pressing 'Delete' key form keyboard, selected breakpoint does not delete on lion machine. while on other machine selected breakpoint gets deleted.

Expected result: Selected breakpoint in breakpoint window should be deleted after pressing 'Delete' key from keyboard.

MFA 4.2.8 -88acfed004937da9bc7c0247d4b62c7e1633c1dc

Regression Status:
NOT A REGRESSON: This is also happening with MD Stable.

This should already be fixed

We are getting same issues with following builds:

Mac Lion
MD 4.0 56b4e889d5855b3f7ba5ac204adbc3863829050c
MFA 4.3.129 8d/8d96246b735a14552c70f72f2cffedc12d26f709
Mono 2.10.10 5e29582df80dc934b69553812992b6e4899baaa9

I can't seem to reproduce this on Lion.

I've got a small keyboard, and so do not have 2 different Delete keys like on the full Mac keyboards. Which Delete key are you using?

The Delete key over the \ key? or the Delete key in the group with Home/End/etc?

For reference, on a small Apple keyboard the backspace key is labelled "delete", but it's really a backspace key, both in functionality and in the keycode it produces. For a "normal" delete on a small Apple keyboard, use function-backspace.

And for deleting things in a Mac UI, one usually uses command-backspace.

n/m, figured it out. You guys must have been using the other Delete key that I don't have on my keyboard.

Fixed in git master

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

X.S 4.0.7(build 3)
Mono 3.0.11
Xamarin.Android 4.6.6-11

Now we are successfully able to delete breakpoint form breakpoint pad after pressing Delete key/ backspace key

Changing the status to verified.
