SOurce analysis warns about unused variables, and also warns that assignment to them is redundant. The second warning is redundant.

You're right

First I thought they were written by different students - but both are written by Mansheng Yang.

I removed the LocalVariableOnlyAssignedIssue

Yes, it's redundant. It seemed I forgot it when writing the other one.
Besides, ParameterOnlyAssignedIssue may has the same problem - assignments to parameters are also checked by RedundantAssignmentIssue.
