Windows Form with NumericUpDown control
The events of the NumericUpDown control do not work the same way in Windows and Linux. When running under Mono in Linux, the ValueChanged event behaves very inconsistently. Entering a value in the text field and pressing Enter will always cause the event to fire. Overtyping the value and then leaving the control will usually not raise the event, and I have not been able to determine why it sometimes does or does not. In the example program, displaying the value with the Show Settings button will frequently display the previous value of the control. Clicking on the up and down arrows usually will raise the event, but is also not consistent in behavior.
In my current working code, I have had to extend the NumericUpDown control and add code to OnTextBoxTextChanged to get the system to recognize and manage changes to the text value more consistently.
Has this issue been fixed in version 2.10? I am developing for a client's system, so an upgrade to the environment will need justification.
