Description of Problem:
copy-paste from MonoDevelop into LibreOffice is broken

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Copy text containing Unicode characters from a document open in MonoDevelop
2. Paste the text into LibreOffice using either the standard paste command or Edit > Paste Special > Formatted text [RTF]

Actual Results:
all Unicode characters are scrambled, e.g. "✔" becomes "笨能par" and "©" becomes "ツゥ"

Expected Results:
contents of clipboard

How often does this happen?
every time

Additional Information:
tested on Ubuntu 12.04 only

Works for me on os x (That's where I currently work on)

2.8.6 is very outdated btw.

Ok we still have that bug - even in newer versions.

I don't know what I tested these days on os x - but we have this issue on all platforms.
It was caused by the rtf conversion of chars > 0x7F - that's fixed now.
