I migrated profile to OS X Lion and 2.4.2 still runs and loads up UI. I downloaded 2.6 and replaced the former 2.4.2 and Monodevelop just won't load anymore.

I ran with the open command on a command line and got this error

LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file /Applications/MonoDevelop.app

This might be related to a tool called Springy, can you check if this is what is happening to you?
