The build progress disappears and the status of monodevelop is displayed as "Ready." when the mono develop window looses focus.
Steps to recreate:
1. Open an iPhone project that builds successfully.
2. Make a change to ensure the project is recompiled.
3. Press Command-B to build.
4. Note build progress in status bar on bottom of MD window (eg: "Compiling to native code")
5. Open Finder or switch to another window.
6. Return to Monodevelop. The status now displays "Ready."
This can be confusing as its hard to tell if monodevelop is doing a build or not. While waiting for a build to complete, I often switch to my task list to review what has to be done next, switching back to monodevelop leaves me second guessing if I started the build or not as there is no easy way to tell if it is currently building.
Not happening in current release.
