As an alternative to --linkskip=MyAssembly when source for library is available, I'd prefer to put [Preserve()] in AssemblyInfo.cs-style file. I.e.:

   [assembly: Preserve()]

Low priority, but useful to centralize this vs. having to replicate --linkskip to multiple exes and exe configs. Other benefit is that this can then be #if conditionalized.

Thanks for the feedback! We have a similar idea under consideration (but no firm date/release plan).
