The shortcut now works but the content menu still does not show it

That's expected. On Mac OSX shortcuts are never shown in the context menu.

What? Something else is then wrong because text editor, solution window and other context menus have it

Yes, something is wrong then with the other menus. The difference is that the context menu in the output pad widget is generated by GTK (it's a standard menu), while the one in the editor and other widgets is generated by MD. Those shouldn't be showing the shortcuts if we want to follow the OSX guidelines.
