Description Peter Collins 2012-08-28 18:25:38 UTC
The MFA UI Designer for VS does not seem to be updating its display properly when changing API level, orientation, and screen size. Saving the axml file, closing it, and opening it again causes the display to update. Also, popping the axml designer window out of the toolbar causes the display to update. Changing a property in the actual xml code and saving that change only occasionally causes the designer display to update.

I was unable to reproduce any designer update issues in MFA 4.2.1, it is a recent issue.

Screen Casts:
VS 2010: http://screencast.com/t/Z4B8Jxml
VS 2012: http://screencast.com/t/UNvNgU5yia

Another strange bug is shown in the following youtube video, which shows the spinner widget not displaying correctly. I was able to repro this spinner issue, the widget display only seems to be broken for the ICS previewer.

Environment Details:
win7x64 VM on OSX Mountain Lion host
VS 2012 & VS 2010
MFA 4.2.4 & MFA
