Description Eric 2012-08-20 08:46:53 UTC
I created a new Monotouch project with MonoDevelop. After the build I opened it in Debug Modus with the simpulator and it started (black screen) but that's waht I expected. If I set the configuration to debug/iphone the is the following error:

Please ensure your device is connected...

MonoTouch: 5.2.13
Mono: 2.10.9
OS: MacOS 10.6.8
iOS: 4.3 (iPad)

I updated the computer from earlier versions of Monodevelop, Mono and Monotouch.

Please use MonoDevelop's main menu, then "About MonoDevelop" menu item, "Version Information" tab and copy-paste the information from there. That will include everything we need (including the version of Xcode being used).

You'll need to update to Xcode 4.2(.x) to use the latest MonoTouch 5.2.x releases as the code/libraries used to talk between the Mac and the device differs.

Thank you. That solved it.
