Output of "monodis I.dll"

Description of Problem:
mcs cannot compile a class which implements an interface which has static methods. Such interfaces are for example created by ikvmc in some situations.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
cat > I.java <<EOF
public interface I {
    public static int value = new Integer (1);
cat > Test.cs <<EOF
public class C : I {}
javac I.java
ikvmc -out:I.dll I.class
gmcs -target:library -r:I.dll Test.cs

Actual Results:
Test.cs(1,14): error CS0535: `C' does not implement interface member `I.__<clinit>()'
/tmp/I.dll (Location of the symbol related to previous error)
Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 0 warnings

Expected Results:
Successful compilation

Additional Information:
This problem appears both in Mono and in the current git master (2e7da2d7657601ecac25c9c9bec2f9b5cfe3649f).
I've attached the output of "monodis I.dll".
