Description Robert Castles 2012-08-15 16:09:15 UTC
1. Open existing project with layouts
2. edit layout in Source tab
3. layout edit is visible in "Content" tab.
4. No option to save the layout file is available.
5. close layout file window. No prompt to save is shown
6. open layout file, edits from step 2 are lost.

Also, of note, if you edit the layout and build and deploy, the edits are not present.

I'm also having something similar

- Open a solution
- Open a layout.
- Changing the layout visually doesn't enable the save button.

Pressing Ctrl + S doesn't save either and no warning of not saving. So closing the layout and reopening looses all changes!

If I go to the source and make any change the save is enabled.

Please mark as HIGH priority.

Are you seeing this problem with MonoDevelop or Visual Studio?
Comment 3 Robert Castles 2012-10-02 11:59:39 UTC
Visual Studio 2010

I see this mainly in MonoDevelop!

The MonoDevelop issue is fixed.

Today, with the latest builds:

MFA 4.6.01079
Mono 2.10.12
VS 2012/2010

And now the issue does not exists. As the user is successfully able to save the layout edits.

Hence, closing this issue.
