This is a new issue that has come about as a result of the changes needed to fix bug 6478.

Steps to reproduce:

1 Start the deploy
2 During the shared runtime deployment, cancel the deploy.

Expected result:
A message like 'Deployment cancelled' should appear in the status bar.

Actual result:

Fixed in master and 3.0.4 branch.
