indent incorrect

When I edit cs code, the indentation does not work correctly. In the menu "Tool-Options-Source Code-Code Formatting-C# Source Code", I have set the indent width and tab width to 4 ,as the attachment shows. But when I format the code , all the indent width was converted to 8. I have tried many times , even in a new project it didn't work correctly.
    Is this a bug?

Look in the project options, maybe you've an indent width there. The text editor options are a policy that can be overwritten.

Which monodevelop version are you using ? Can you try it with 3.0.4 from the alpha channel ?

I've no problems there - maybe it's a bug in the release you're using.
