Description Roman Sakno 2011-09-06 01:24:33 UTC
If this method accepts NULL in typeResolver parameter then it returns null or throws the TypeLoadException exception. In the .NET Framework, if this parameter accepts null then method provides default type resolving algorithm. The following example demonstrates the trivial implementation of the delegate that can be used in the Type.GetType method when typeResolver is not specified:
private static Type GetType(Assembly source, string typeName, bool ignoreCase)
  return source.GetType(typeName, false, ignoreCase);
