I have a project with multiple ListView controls. As long as the ListView control is the root element of a content page it seems to work without any modifications with the iPhone X SafeArea. But in some pages I need a SearchBar too (and in some Apps also Google AdMob) so that the ListView is no longer the root child of the content page. In this case the iPhone X SafeArea gets ignored by the ListView.
How can I add the SafeArea for Left and Right (and sometimes Bottom too) to the ListView? It seems like there is no clean solution. Here is a repository which reflects this problem (I implemented a workaround for the ViewCells which offsets themself but the Seperator of the ListView and the ShortGroup index is still messing with the SafeArea): https://github.com/Sebastian1989101/OpenGeoDB-App
It seems like there is no way to handle this yet. Also, because it works when the ListView is the root child of the content page, I consider this as bug.
