Description Måns Svanlund 2017-11-19 14:33:25 UTC
UWP applications do not load ToolbarItem icons on app start when started on a non primary screen. I have to go to another page for them to show up. However, if i start the app on the primary screen, everything works fine.

Windows 10 Creators Fall
Xamarin v2.5.0.91635

I have tried to define the toolbaritems both in XAML and code to no avail. Loded images from both PCL and UWP project with no change.

Not sure if this is a Xamarin bug or Windows 10 bug.

Note that it's only the icons not being loaded/displayed. The actual toolbar items are there. I see the text just fine, and can click on them.

Mans, I'm not able to reproduce this issue. See the project attached. Perhaps you need to adjust the location of your images or the path.

If you are still having this issue, please provide a reproduction project based on the attached and we'll investigate further.

Hi, this is not a fluke, i didnt even realize it until indeed my app was initially started on a non secondary display and voila no toolbaritem image, when i navigate to another page and back to it then they are back. As Mans said if you startup on the primary display then the images are there. My windows 10 target version is 16299 and minium is 15063, using XF 2.5
