Description Chris Hamons 2012-07-10 17:00:00 UTC
NSControl defines a method MouseDown that I'd like to override in my subclass of NSOutlineView. However, NSTableView declares an event with the same name as "new". I can't override the base method, even after trying NSControl.MouseDown.

Please rename one or the other.

I renamed NSTableView's MouseDown to MouseDownInHeaderOfTableColumn (which also matches the objective C name more closely).

			// your code here ...

Martin, can you fix this one too?
Comment 4 Martin Baulig 2012-09-11 12:16:47 UTC
Yeah sure.

I think I'll write some simple reflection tool to scan over the entire API, there are likely a few other cases as well.

Just looked at this and I can't find any "MouseDown" in NSTableView.
Comment 6 Chris Hamons 2012-11-15 11:29:12 UTC
It's on the base class NSControl.

Looks fixed. Since I filed the bug myself, closing.
