Description Stephan Desmoulin 2012-07-10 14:16:53 UTC
I am using the latest alpha build of MonoDroid 4.2.4, released on July 9th with Android SDK with API 16.

When trying to add a Spinner control in Design View in Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate Edition on Windows 7 x64 SP1, nothing happens. When I add the spinner control (by copying pasting the example from the Spinner documentation on Xamarin's website) via the Source View and then switch to Design View, Visual Studio crashes with the following information in the event log:

Fault bucket 3106202613, type 5

Obviously, this is a bit of a problem for developing any application with a spinner control. Any feedback or workarounds would be extremely appreciated.

Hi Stephan,

I have checked it with latest build of Xamarin 3.9.236 and I am successfully able to drag Spinner control on designer.

Are you still getting this Issue?

I have checked this issue with latest stable XVS 3.11.666 and unable to reproduce above behavior given in the bug description. I am successfully able to drag Spinner control on designer.
