Description David Greene 2017-10-30 15:53:32 UTC
A Xamarin.iOS App is crashing whenever loading 2 certain raster PDFs.
Building the same app using Xcode does not crash

The crash only happens on an iPad 4 w/ iOS 10.3 (A6X Processor), and not on an iPad Air 2 w/ iOS 10.3 (A8X) or iPad Pro w/ iOS 10.0.1 (A9X). The crash can be traced to the CGContext.DrawPDFPage() method.

Please include your full build logs, crash reports (if any), and a test case (to reproduce).

To get full build logs just set the log verbosity to diagnostic at the following locations:
- On Visual Studio for Mac: Preferences > Projects > Build
- On Visual Studio for Windows: Tools > Options > Projects and Solutions > Build and Run

On Visual Studio Windows you also want to add `-v -v -v -v` to the mtouch additional arguments by right-clicking the project in the solution explorer and selecting `Properties`.
Note: this is done automatically on Visual Studio for Mac when the log verbosity is set to diagnostic.

@David thanks for the environment information but we need more information regarding the code itself. Could you provide a small sample with the code you are using? Also, since you mentioned that you have an objc app, could you upload it too so that we can identify the differences and triage the probable bug?

Thanks in advance.
