Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the GLCameraRipple application.
2. Debug OR run the application on the device.
Actual result: Application launches on the device, but camera does not open, only black screen appears.
Expected result: Application should launch on the device successfully and camera should start.

REGRESSION: This is not happening with MD 18.104.22.168 and MT 5.2.12(Build error appears)

This is also happening on:

I can reproduce it (this is the strong-ref branch).
Today with the latest builds:
And now this issue does not exist, as now instead of the black screen the camera starts successfully.
Hence, closing this issue.
