Maybe I'm just going crazy here...I've run the following code on my device and the simulator using MonoTouch, and my Windows machine using the .NET framework. The resulting output is "true" on the Windows machine and "false" on MonoTouch.
RectangleF outer = new RectangleF(100, 150, 300, 300);
RectangleF inner = new RectangleF(139.3323f, 188.4053f, 140.2086f, 210.3129f);
Either I've made a copying error somewhere along the line (v possible) or I've found a bug. Unless I'm making a mistake, the result should be "true" every time.
Fortunately it's not hard to work round, but it did lead me to much head scratching and I have drawn more rectangles in the last hour than I thought humanly possible!
It will be included in MonoTouch 5.3.6.
Excellent! Thanks Rolf.
