The remoted ios simulator does not work correctly: it displays the previous old frame instead of the current frame, as if it was not detecting changes fast enough.

Test project:

You will need the XamSvg component described in the Xamarin Component store.

I have used the prerelease demo and the prerelease nuget of xamSvg, available on the XamSvg private nuget server (access to this nuget server is sent after you buy the component from the store).


On the ios simulator on mac, the display is correct when you change the svg displayed by swiping the demo window. Using the remoted simulator the display is updated incorrectly when you swipe the demo window too fast.

Thanks for the report. This sounds identical to bug 59720 so i marked this as a duplicate. We're still investigating the underlying cause of the problem, it sounds specific to xcode 9.
