Description emanuel.palm 2017-08-02 08:53:57 UTC
I'm using a custom iOS NavigationRenderer to intercept navigation and make adjustments to pages before they are rendered. I can override OnPushAsync(), OnPopViewAsync() and OnPopToRoot(), but there is no OnInsertPageBefore() method.

I have been able to create a workaround that works for my particular use case. I only ever insert new pages at the root, and I always navigate to them via the Navigation#PopToRootAsync() method, which means I can adjust it in my renderer by overriding OnPopToRoot().

If nothing else, there should be a protected virtual OnInsertPageBefore(Page, Page) in iOS NavigationRenderer for the sake of consistency.

Thank you!
