Error when trying to pair with mac

Getting an error (attached) when trying to pair Xamarin Forms solution in Visual Studio with MacBook to run iOS simulator. Have remote login sharing enabled on mac and can ping the machine on the same network.

Thanks for reporting.
Can you please check if you can connect to the same IP address with another SSH client on the Windows machine, like Putty?
Given that the SSH host fingerprint is not being retrieved, it looks like something with the SSH daemon in the Mac is wrong, even if you have enabled Remote Login on that machine.

Confirming if you also have connection issues with an external SSH client can guide us better on the problem.
