On layout attributes for RelativeLayout such as layout_toLeftOf, we'd like to select a layout resource ID for the actual objects such as (@+id/)myButton. But the property value selector dialog does not let me select my controls, only to show some Drawables such as the app icon or framework resources.
Sample sshot attached for clarification.
You can use the alignment handles for this.
I find the alignment handles challenging to use for my layouts and also would like to see the "search" icon bring up a list of resource IDs. I resort to typing in IDs while looking at my document outline.
Can we get this prioritized higher. I bet this is a common issue for folks using the designer. Especially when you have converted a layout container to RelativeLayout: all your children will be clumped together and you won't be able to use the "handles." I am constantly having to edit AXML by hand.
