Description Favas 2017-06-29 12:27:08 UTC
On iOS, the event is firing as soon as I pick the month, day or year. It doesn't give me a chance to select the entire date. Picker does have the same issue but can be fixed by using PlatformConfiguration iOsSpecific:Picker.UpdateMode="WhenFinished". But the same not available for DatePicker.

Steps to recreate:

1.Add DatePicker to XAML
2.Build and Run on IOS device
3.Tap on DatePicker TextField
4.Change Day, Month or Year, you can see the Datepicker TextField value changes accordingly. The event also fires(not even tap the done button!)

I am using Visual Studio 2017 on Windows 10, Xamarin.Forms version running on iPhone 5 with iOS 10.2

Status changed

We would consider this an enhancement for the time being as it would require implementing similar behavior on the DatePickerRenderer.
