In Visual Studio, when I change the API version number the designer skins do not change. The only thing I can think of that is affecting this is that I deleted the AVDs that the Mono installer created for me. Now it looks like the theme is permanently stuck on Android 4.0.

Fixed. The fix will be included in upcoming releases.
