when using the custom Info.plist with Visual Studio 2017 15.2.2 there is currently no way in editor to select "none" for Launch Screen if Launch Image is to be used instead.
To get your iOS app to use Launch Images rather then a storyboard you have to open the info.plit and delete the following lines
Again, this is obvious to those of us with experience but those newer or not as experienced may not know to do this. please add option to have "none" in LaunchScreen drop down so those developers who may not know do not spend hours adding and removing images and image assets.
