When creating an Custom EntryRenderer and setting the InputType property with the value InputTypes.ClassNumber | InputTypes.NumberVariationPassword the telephone Keyboard is displayed.

Please find attached a sample project replicating the bug.

That is not the telephone keyboard as far as I can tell. If you change InputTypes.ClassNumber to InputTypes.ClassPhone, they look distinctly different. I will attach screenshots depicting the difference.
