Getting the following exception when trying to start an existing Xamarin Forms application with Live Player:
Xamarin Player has some limitations that may prevent your app from running correctly. We recommend switching to building for devices and simulators so that these limitations don't affect you.
The following limitations were encountered:
• Project should be less than 4194304 bytes, but is 4560272 bytes.
We will be removing this in future releases.
This has been recently completed.
The limitation is still present in my machine, which uses following versions (updated at 15 June 2017):
- Windows 10
- Visual Studio Enterprise 2017 Preview (2) - Version 15.3.0 Preview 2.0
- Xamarin 22.214.171.1240 (33bfa20)
Sorry but I don't know if there is a version of Xamarin Live Player, anyway I've updated it today 15 June 2017.
