Description raV720 2017-05-18 14:01:41 UTC
Cannot create binding on RowDefinitions or ColumnDefinitions of Grid.

When adding Xaml definition like this:

<Grid RowDefinitions="{Binding Rows, Converter={StaticResource RowsConverter}}"/>

<Grid ColumnDefinitions="{Binding Columns, Converter={StaticResource ColumnsConverter}}"/>

it gives ArgumentException with additional information:

Value was an invalid value for RowDefinitions
Value was an invalid value for ColumnDefinitions

Directly it is caused by validating value of RowDefinitionsProperty or ColumnDefinitionsProperty. Validating is checking against null value. And value is null because default value of these properties are set to null. Converter is not even fired.
