Description Andi McClure 2017-05-04 17:14:52 UTC
On our Windows 32 and 64 bit lanes:

are both seeing a 100% failure where in the MonoTests.runtime.abort-cctor.exe test, a ThreadAbortException is caught while inside of a static constructor. My understanding is TAE is supposed to be delayed until after static constructors finish, and that we previously fixed this on other platforms.

This exact failure was also seen once (but only once) in the last week on our coop Intel32 Linux lane.

Intel64 Windows

Intel32 Linux Coop

Actually this also appears to be happening 100% on Intel64 Linux Coop. Example

Not sure if that's the same issue or not

Filed the Intel64 Linux Coop TAE issue as https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=55989

Fixed the windows failures (055b15e0420a3dced029f95067865703f7fcbef9). Just backported to 2017-04. I think the coop issue was unrelated. I should take a look at it sometime.
